The last chapter in the popular series of "Remembering Wildlife" books will be dedicated to Lions. These are books created putting together images from some of the world's best wildlife photographers. Proceeds from the sales will be devoted entirely to wildlife conservation projects. I am glad that one of my portraits of Lions has been chosen as the cover for the Remembering Lions book. This image was taken in the Serengeti on a late afternoon in 2017. This beautiful young male slept the whole day through, and just as the last sun was about to set he woke up. The dry wind blew his mane and he looked into the fading light with a very intense stare.
