I have been using Foliolink for the past few years and am very pleased with the service they provide. The templates are very easy to customize and the interface is very simple to use. It's great being able to very easily update and change my site whenever I like without any hassle. I really dig how elegant I've been able to make my site look and my clients often compliment how much they like it. I'll defiantly be sticking with Foliolink for years to come.

I have looked at many website solutions, but non does what FolioLink is offering: Clean designs, easy customization, fast updates and very cost effective.
I need to spend time on my images and not on maintaining my website. FolioLink is the only tool any photographer should consider if he or she is serious about their work.
The staff is not only great to work with but also fast in giving you the answers if you don't find them online.
Ever since Gunther got his first Kodak Intamatic camera in Germany he was hooked on taking pictures. Completing a 3 years apprenticeship as a photographer did not stop him either. Continuing his education in the field of advertising and design made it even worse. Moving to New York City and working for some bigger and smaller creative ad agencies made him a mad man.So much that he co-founded his own ad agency in Philadelphia with 3 other cazy ad guys.
Now this mad man is behind the camera.

I was in heave ok. Some of you might believe that there are 72 virgins waiting for you in heaven but this is my heaven awroight?! It was like walking through a candy store, template after templates of designs already created. The only thing to do was to just add the images. Simply amazing, I’m not Irish but I was dancing a jig all night. Within 48 hours my new website was up and running. How cool!

Foliolink has been a trusted ally. The interface is straight forward and very easy to update which allows me to spend more time shooting and less time on the computer. Perfect.
I was born and raised in San Francisco, where I fell in love with photography when I was just a wee lad. After graduating from college I moved to Europe and spent the next few years between Paris and Milan. I always had a strong inclination toward visual arts and my years in Europe helped to form my aesthetic sensibilities. Upon returning to the states I landed in New York where I enjoyed a dozen plus years collaborating with and shooting for top magazines, ad agencies and art directors. I recently returned to San Francisco with my wife Rosa and our twin 8 year old sons where we are loving this new chapter in our lives.

Because I love taking portraits of people, I know the importance of building good relationships. The key, I believe, to every good relationship is 'trust'.
It has been about 3 years since I started using FolioLink, and it has grown consistently. There are so many wonderful layouts and functions, including a mobile-friendly website which has been very helpful for me.
FolioLink also has excellent email updates and customer service. Consequently, I haven't hesitated to renew my contract every year.

FolioLink is really useful for me.
First because the uploading is easy and quick. I normally take pictures of concerts every week and I need to upload the photos in a short time. Usually the day after the concert, or the same night!!
Second, through my image archive the artists can find all the pictures that I shoot, even years after the concert!!
My name is Lorenzo Di Nozzi, and I am a "dance & music" photographer.
I live in Barcelona (Spain) where I work as official photographer of the Theatre PALAU DE LA MUSICA, I am also the official photographer of the Barcelona Gospel Festival and the Jazz Festival"PALAUJAZZ.
Other than events and theaters here in Spain, I worked for the Barcelona Voll-Damm Jazz Festival.
I studied photography at the Academy of Photography of the Theatre Alla Scala in Milan.

I first became aware of FolioLink when I saw the web site of another Vermont photographer. I liked the look and feel of his site, so I looked into FolioLink for my own web site. I designed my previous site myself. While it served the basic function of showing my work, it lacked some of the sophistication of the FolioLink sites. The elegant layout and visual effects on my FolioLink site have elevated my presentation.
I started shooting portraits in 1966 while a high school student in Upstate New York. My early influences included Yousuf Karsh, Irving Penn and Richard Avedon. It was Penn who got me interested in the studio with his “neutral ground” concept. Later, Avedon inspired me to take my portraits into more universal territory.
In 1977 I put down my camera to pursue parallel careers in music and writing. I built a recording studio that hosted some national acts, and I founded a library for unpublished books.
In 2007, after a thirty-year hiatus, I began shooting portraits again—this time strictly as a fine art.

As a graphic designer and art director, I’ve created many websites for many clients. However, like many creative people, I’ve never had the time to create my own site, something I desperately needed to do. So when I heard about Foliolink and saw how clean and elegant their designs were, and how easy it was to create a website that reflected my own aesthetics, I immediately jumped on board. And I’ve been extremely happy with the results. The people at Foliolink are wonderful and helpful, and I love the look and functionality of my flash site. Finding Foliolink was such a relief for me. It’s been manna from Heaven. I’d recommend them to any busy creative in need of an online portfolio.
A writer, designer and creative on hundreds of commercials, Christopher spent the last 20 years working for ad agencies all over the world.
Three years ago, he started christopherWILSONphotography. Since then, and much to his delight, he has worked constantly as a photographer. Before that, he was a ballet dancer. He danced 8 hours a day, survived on bread and coffee, looked like hell and broke his ankle twice. But he still insists it was fun. What an idiot.
He has two daughters, Celia and Raney, by far the best things he has ever created.
His wife, Cathy, lives in the center of his heart.

I needed to create a new site for my artwork and didn't want hire someone to create one for me. Of all the ones I looked at on the web, FolioLink seemed to be the best and well worth the price. I think portfolios look great on them, very professional and clean. I use the Los Angeles template and especially love that you can load very large images and that they expand and decrease with the window size. In addition, the site changes for ipad and iphone which is an added bonus. I also found the staff to be very helpful and efficient whenever I had a question. I am proud to show my site to potential customers and curators....I highly recommend FolioLink.
I studied design in Paris and have worked as an interior, furniture and graphics designer. I started painting rather recently and have devoted a great deal of time to it over the past 2 years. My work is mostly oil on canvases or other surfaces. I would characterize my art as abstract landscapes. I am starting to explore other media such as layering painted and inked plexiglass, using the cast shadows to create 3d effects.

Foliolink is simply one of the best artist website service providers I have had the pleasure of working with. I have been using Foliolink for over 7 years and continue to be impressed in equal measure by their excellent customer support and the quality of the template designs. I currently use the San Francisco template and find it perfect for displaying my art work. As my business has grown over the years so too has my Foliolink website to the extent that it is now a comprehensive, professional art website that allows me integrate my art portfolios, blogs, social media, videos, Painting workshops and shopping cart. It is a critical part of my business and marketing strategy and I never have any hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for an easy to use, high quality, well managed website.

Attracted to FolioLink’s simple and elegant web designs, I wanted a website that showcased my work and didn’t get in the way. What I wasn’t expecting was how easy and intuitive FolioLink is to use; one can quickly and easily update the images without having to learn or relearn a new program or site design every time. An added benefit: great technical support with real folks.
Our visual experience influences our perception of the environment. My work revolves around our communications and the visual and typographic languages we create in response to new technologies. Our highly-caffeinated consumer culture contrasts sharply with an increasingly remote natural physical environment; the conflict created by these two realities is the focus of my work.

FolioLink provides me with the flexibility I need to present my work easily and quickly. It is very intuitive and has many great features. I no longer need to spend my time working on website design and updating software and so I have more time for making art. Whenever I have had a question, the staff has been quick to respond and were extremely helpful.
My digital images have a basis in a painterly tradition, a tradition of art making built from my own background in the study of composition, color theory and the handling of subjects. I turned from this practice of painting with canvas and brush years ago to pursue digital imagery. Armed with a digital camera, I have become a collector of images, not always knowing what the image will become once it is in the mainframe, but saving it because something in it is visually worthwhile. The final image develops through the process of creativity and the intersection of these found visual elements.

A few years ago I discovered Foliolink. As an artist that paints contemporary rural American landscapes, I was looking for a website design/management company that offered contemporary site designs that would compliment my art. Also, one that would provide clear, simple instructions and offered an opportunity to make site changes online 24/7. After trying out their free trial offer, I said, I found the right company. Foliolink offers many templates that are contemporary, fresh designs and intuitive, along with simple step-by-step instructions. On a few occasions, I had to call Foliolink to work out some functionality issues....Foliolink provided responsive, friendly and information to assist me in getting my site up and running. As a former graphic designer, many of my friends thought I designed the site and were very complimentary with the look. I’ve been very pleased with Foliolink....It’s been a good relationship.
Born and raised in San Francisco, I was fortunate that my parents encouraged me and introduced me to the wealth of San Francisco’s art exhibitions and museums. While I had a great creative experience in a succession of graphic design and art director positions over a long career, I continued to paint seriously. Enthusiasm for my current contemporary rural American landscapes has allowed me to transition entirely from commercial art to my passion for painting. My work has found collectors throughout the country including, most recently, the Rockwell Museum of Western Art in Corning, New York and the Booth Western Art Museum in the Atlanta area.

The association with Foliolink has exceeded expectations. I believe there is a built in credibility to artists who present their work on this site. The design templates are exemplary and I receive consistent inquiry from people who have seen my work while conducting a search for other Foliolink artists.
I am a visual artist who works in photography, film, and video. My world travels have taken me to places where “the lens can easily feast its eye.” I have always been intrigued and puzzled by the differences in cultures around the world. Just recently, I returned from three weeks in India attending the largest gathering of human beings on the planet, called the Kumbh Mela. My photographs are designed to capture a moment - - a certain look in someone’s eye when the consciousness of the camera disappears. I do not set out to exploit emotions, but I feel an image should provoke a feeling. It should inspire or trigger something very deep with the observer.

Creating my own website on FolioLink was a rewarding experience. Even if you are not terribly savvy about computers, the clear way FolioLink is set up, and the easy and quick access to live help from the staff make it a smooth process. The designs of the various templates are clean and inviting and complement and enhance the presentation of the art. The fees are reasonable, and it is a great boon to be able to make changes to your website by yourself anytime you choose. Thanks Foliolink.
As my practice of painting moves well into it's fifth decade, I have an opportunity to reflect on what common spirit might be running through the work, wether it be a landscape, a still life or most recently a portrait. What I perceive most clearly in the best work is a sense of presence or aliveness, and a "rightness" of form scale and color. I do appreciate more and more the way a painting, it's spirit arising out of such humble materials, continues to rest silently on the wall, contemplating both itself and the viewer amidst the hurried buzz of our contemporary lives, offering a refuge and occasion for those desiring a deeper and more satisfying engagement of our attention.

Foliolink has made marketing my web site remarkably easy. Hiring designers in the past did not allow me complete control as I have with Foliolink. One of my favorite features is the site compatibility with the iPhone. My clients love it and it is great fun just to show off.

We learned very early on how important presentation is in our visual business. Poor exposure is the easiest route to disaster. In order to find a solution for a new portfolio website we intensively scoured the web - and stumbled upon FolioLink. The visual impact of the offered design possibilities was a revelation for us and the best part is that we can do it on our own. This was exactly what we were searching for. After the launch of the new website we got thrilling feedback from our clients like “eye-catching”, “very professional”, “highest quality standard”. That speaks for itself.

Having a strong, memorable web presence is critical in today's marketplace; especially in a visual industry such as photography. In addition to great content, potential clients expect sites to be clean, well designed, fast loading and easy to navigate. At the back-end, I need a site that's easy to update and simple to maintain.
After using a custom built site for a number of years, I was ready for a new design with less administrative hassle. A friend sent me a link to his site and I was impressed with the simple elegance, clean look and easy functionality. When he told me it was a template, I was a little surprised in that the template providers I was familiar with had an easily identified look that lacked individuality. On the other hand, FolioLink offered a wide variety of designs with options and choices within each one including user changes and customization by FolioLink.
Building the site was fairly easy with FolioLink's administrative interface. And when I had questions about the xml customization, search engine optimization, etc., tech support was fast and thorough. As web design technology changes, FolioLink stays on top of it instead of me having to worry about how my website will function with the latest browser or display app. As a result, I have a site that gets great feedback from clients, brings in new work and allows me to spend my time shooting instead of getting caught up in the details of website management.
"A shadow passing leaves no trace but for a moment captured. Preserving that moment - that split second when light and shadow, line and form, color and texture all come together ; the moment when a glance or facial expression turns from posed to revealing ... is what drives me to create photographs. It's more than a simple desire ... it's a necessity."

I chose FolioLink.com after sampling two other website services. FolioLink website designs present my work clearly and professionally. My website receives constant complements from galleries and other artists. I have about 30 seconds to engage a viewer with my work. This site elegantly does the job.
The staff at FolioLink patiently taught me how to manipulate my website to my own taste. They are attentive and delightful to work with. I now update my site within an hour of completing a piece. I am exponentially gaining exposure and have signed with one gallery while looking for more. FolioLink is the answer.
I am a visual archaeologist. My drawings and paintings combine unrelated images collected from my tropical surroundings and travels to tell stories. I am fascinated with the relationship between structure and spirit, fragments and whole, visible and invisible, presence and absence.
The biggest complement I have received is: I can not stop looking at this!
My goal is to engage you with a thought provoking composition of transitions between renderings. My influences are Lee Bontecou and Julia DArcy.
I studied at SAIC-Chicago, Kansas University and have my BFA in Illustration from Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle. My work shows locally and has won numerous awards. I teach drawing at Coral Springs Museum of Art.

Since early in my career as a professional painter, I have had a Web site that was created by a web designer. While the design was great, I felt frustrated with not being able to go in and make changes on my own schedule — whenever I wanted, without being sent a bill. I was delighted with how easily and quickly I could get my Foliolink site up and running. Any problems or questions were answered quickly, so I could pull my whole site together within a few days. The best part of all of this is the reactions I have gotten from people in the art and graphic design business, telling my how wonderful my new site is! Thanks Foliolink!
Like the fantastic imagined landscapes she creates, Nancy Tobin has constructed her career in layers: varied but consistent in its commitment to form, technique and process. Her dedication to art-making started early, parlaying a degree in commercial art into a successful career as an award-winning graphic designer and children’s book illustrator. Since her move to the New York area she has had solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums across the country. In 2007, Tobin won the Brodsky Center for Innovative Print and Papermaking fellowship at Rutgers University. Her work has been acquired by numerous private and museum collections.

My Foliolink websiite has gotten a ton of positive feedback for the look of the website and the way it handles all the content!
The surprising amount of user controlled custom features are a delight to use and what I couldn’t figure out myself the staff at Foliolink handled in a few emails!
I checked out LiveBooks and a few other similar services but Foliolink has so much more to offer.
My work straddles the two worlds of assignment photography and self-assigned projects for sale in galleries as prints or programmed in limited edition, handmade artist books. I intend my website to appeal to the widest range of image professionals who must quickly realize that in the final analysis, it is a strong personal vision which counts the most!
The images in the WORKPLACE and WORKFORCE portfolios are from a long term ( ‘99-’05) documentation of the former maritime/industrial area along the South-East San Francisco waterfront.

I have been pleased with my ability to create a unique, complex and exceptionally well designed website with ease and speed. The design options are far ranging, allowing for originality. Yet, the logic of the design process is simple and user friendly. I have also enjoyed prompt technical support from a friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Foliolink offers professional quality sites with contemporary styles and great customer support! Website templates allow for significant customization while remaining user friendly. My website was up fast and I have complete control to change features anytime. Having this website has been invaluable to my business.
Chris first picked up a camera to document life and work in isolated areas of Canada's North. Places where immense, stark landscapes were highlighted by changing 24 hour light. Attempting to understand his place amidst the imposing natural forces soon drove his motivation to photograph. He became focused on the interactions between himself, others, animals, plants, climate, and land. Chris remains inspired by the organic forces in photography as he works on providing imagery for stock, wedding, and commercial clients. He currently lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada in one of the sunniest places in the country.

When it come to building web sites, I have gone through the whole spectrum of hiring web designers, designing and building my own, to what I now believe is the future for creative artist like me; the drag and drop. Once a year I would lock myself in my office for three weeks and labor over building a site. With FolioLink, I can create a custom looking site in a matter of hours. The number of design templates and creative options are unprecedented. Now the hardest part about building a web site come down to choosing my images.
The one thing that I have try to do as a commercial adverting photographer, is to present and promote myself first and foremost as an artist. I want the art director hiring me to get a sense that I am more interested in the process of creating a remarkable image than collecting a paycheck. I have little interest in the image associated with being a photographer, my passion lies in the image that can put in a frame and hung on the wall.

FolioLink is a great way to showcase your artwork on the web. Their website templates are extremely easy to manage and deliver superb design. I recommend FolioLink to any artist looking to share, or sell their artwork on the internet.
"My interest is in the possibilities of the imagination. Through my art, I aim to stimulate one’s vision and curiosity to create a gratifying and thought provoking experience. I think of my recent works as incomplete puzzle segments that provide a glimpse of pictorial worlds that are free to inhabit." Jovan Villalba is an artist living and working in NYC. Soon after graduating from The Cooper Union School of Art in 1999, he acquired a studio space in Chelsea, NYC. Since then he has been exhibiting his art in galleries throughout the United States.

In brief, Foliolink has been a godsend. After years working as a computer game artist, learning many different software tools, it has been a joy to relinquish my technical expertise to the experts. Because I use Foliolink for my website, I no longer have to stay abreast of the latest changes in website or internet technology. In my experience, Foliolink has been a responsive and well informed institution. I can always rely on their staff to assist me quickly and efficiently, thereby allowing me to focus on what I love…..creating art.
Above all things I am a painter. I have been college educated and raised by artist parents. I have worked as a commercial and fine artist for others. Today I am my own artist who covets artwork that inspires. If a painting tells me a story or hints at a story which leaves the conclusion up to me, I am enrapt. I am devoted to artwork painted with attention to detail and savor traditional art making processes. As a collector this is what I look for in other artists’ work. As a painter this is the standard I create by.

How easy is this to use? I had my photographic portfolio up and running within a couple or hours , and I can add and delete images with ease even when out on assignment. I can change the entire look and feel of the site with the click of a mouse . I'm continually asked by clients and fellow photographers who built my website. Just last week I had a call from a potential new client. I was able to quickly load up a potfolio suiting his style requirement in under 15 minutes before calling him and directing him to my site. Thanks Foliolink for a easy to use but feature packed, professional website.

A couple of months ago I started looking into changing my website. After researching tons of web templates and web design companies. I came across Foliolink. I was very impressed and excited with the variety of templates they offered. I quickly called and was equally happy to see how helpful they were to my every question regarding the template I preferred. The staff has been a great help and they have worked with me every step of the way.. THANK YOU !!
A universe of Visual imagery is my world. Born to Italian parents and immigrating to the United States, mastering English was a challenge. I used art as a form of communication, as a consequence fine art became a major part of my life. Eighteen years ago I ventured into a new realm of art known as Body painting. I used Body paint as an extension to my fine art. My body painting evolved. This has enabled me to cross boundaries, and introduced my interpretation of the living canvas ' Body painting’ to the world.

“My experience with FolioLink has been very positive and productive. Their team is helpful knowledgeable and responds quickly when I have questions or need to resolve a problem. In this world of many choices and complexity, I think one of the best things about having a FolioLink website is it’s ease of use, simple interface and quick-loading pages. Many clients and collectors of mine have commented on how easy it is to navigate and the crisp, clean design that highlights my work. I’d like to think that it is my paintings alone, that have been the reason for clients buying work through the site. But, in truth, the top-notch presentation of my FolioLink website, as part of an overall marketing plan, helps a great deal.” -Philip Frey
“Philip Frey’s sophisticated paintings and accomplishments reflect a burgeoning career. In his portrayal of Maine coastal life, Frey’s colors often capture a boldness that reminds us of the capacity of light to call one into an atmosphere of cool awakening. A signature Frey landscape stands out for its use of dynamic brushstrokes and luminosity. In all of them, there is poised use of shape, a delight in the sheer patterning and lighting of objects, and an overall visual harmony and joy. He exhibits in several distinguished galleries as far south as Virginia and his work is collected here and abroad. Mr. Frey is an artist whose career is in rapid ascendancy and is one that bears close watching over the decade to come.” - As excerpted from The Firehouse Gallery biography.

It was so great! I was having dinner watching the beautiful sunset of Lake Tahoe when a gentleman overheard me talking about being a painter. I mentioned that he could see my work on http://meredithniles.com. He stopped by my studio and purchased one of my favorite paintings. I can truly say it was because of my Foliolink website that this painting sold and I only had the site for a few
months. I am very pleased with the service!!
“My intention in the paintings is to create a sense of calm, ironically using the boldest colors and shapes. I want the viewer to remove themselves from their hectic lives and momentarily contemplate the quiet tradition of still life in the context of architecturally bold environments. I first combined silver and pinecones eliciting thoughts of one’s city life with one’s weekends at play in the woods. I then became intrigued with the beauty of fruit and their reflections as the light comes through the window of my home. Living in Tahoe, the amazing landscape is now directing my attention outdoors.”

I was originally drawn to Foliolink because I liked the sharp, professional look of their sample websites for artists. I had been looking for an easy-to-use system that would allow me to design and maintain my own site without costing an arm and a leg. Foliolink provided me with everything I had been looking for. I was able to create my basic site and upload my artwork within a couple of hours, and I was up and running with a fully functional website by the end of the day. People have complimented me on my site, assuming that it was created by professionals. I am happy to refer them to Foliolink, knowing that they will be as thrilled with the results as I am!!
Heidi Lewis Coleman is a Connecticut artist, but she was born and raised in Yakima, a small farming town in Central Washington State. The colors of the countryside were rich and warm and translated into the same earthy palette that the artist uses to create her vibrant paintings. Yakima was named for one of the Indian tribes which has long populated its valley. The weavings and basketry of the Northwest tribes became a source of inspiration for the artist and have influenced the primitive style of her abstract work. Coleman studied art at Parsons and the New York School of Design. She has exhibited in Connecticut, Washington, Florida and New York City.

I have been completely happy with the foliolink service, and especially impressed every time I have had a question to resolve. It’s always easy to reach a real (and smart) person on the phone, and they are clearly interested in helping to figure out solutions. It feels like I have a partner on the other side of the computer labyrinth.
“Pleasure and accidents both play a strong role in the work I do. Accidents are sometimes the starting point; a spill or crack or an unintended line, a way of the medium speaking up for itself. Pleasure is often what leads me on along the path.
Pleasure does not necessarily mean comfort; the unexpected turn, the edge of an abyss, the odd bodily feeling that I recognize without knowing its name is pleasurable to me. I’m trying to feel my way sensually without having to decide what it means ahead of time.”
Christy Hengst lives and works in Santa Fe.
