INVERSA (OR) / That which is opposite or contrary in order, direction, position, sense, etc.

This projection night consists of videos by 6 Mexican artists from different backgrounds, origins, and generations, who express shared concerns through the medium of video, employing diverse forms of expression. This linguistic intersectionality results in an ensemble of great dichotomous richness.

Conflict/Reconciliation, Destruction/Construction, Domination/Liberation, Rejection/Acceptance, Immaturity/Maturity, Sacred/Profane, Citizenship/Foreignness, Otherness/Belonging, Body/Spirit.

When observed and interpreted in the breadth of its core concepts, this ensemble gives rise to an experience of great vivacity, visual richness, and discursive depth.
