What – APAP Annual Juried Members Show
When – March 30 - April 11, 2012
Receptions – Friday March 30, from 4 pm-8 pm and Friday, April 6, from 4 pm-8 pm
Where –Sedona Art Center Community Gallery, 15 Art Barn Road in Sedona, AZ
Who – All paid APAP members are eligible to enter. You may renew your dues with this form.
How – Send CD with up to 5 .jpg images. Jury will select up to 3 pieces – 1 Studio, 2 Plein Air.
How Much – Entry fee is $35, this is separate from your annual membership dues.
Entry Deadline – Checks and CDs must be received no later than February 11th.
Notification – Acceptance letters will go out by March 3rd.
Delivery – of paintings to the gallery between 9:30 – Noon, Thursday, March 29. Don’t be late.
Pick-Up – of paintings from the gallery between 3 – 5 pm, Wednesday, April 11. No exceptions.
Sales – There will be an 80/20 split, 80% to the artist, 20% to APAP.
Entry Submission Requirements:
o This year, to celebrate Arizona’s Centennial Year, all entries must have an Arizona focus or subject to be considered.
o Send a CD with up to 5 images – up to 2 Studio (max 18” x 24”) and up to 3 Plein Air works (max 16” x 20”) completed in the last two years and not previously shown at an APAP show.
o Along with CD, send entry fee check and correctly completed entry form; please print legibly.
o CD images should be saved as .jpg files, not too large – between 200kb – 1000kb, 72 ppi is fine.
o Image files should be saved and labeled as follows: title-size-price-P (for plein air) or S (for studio). Example: Aspen-Glow-11x14-$750-P.jpg
o Your entry form will contain the same information – they should match.
o Label CD with the Artist's Name in marker. Do not put artist's name in image file.
o Jury Committee will select up to one Studio, and up to two Plein Air pieces from your entry.
o All jury decisions are final.
o Delivery/shipping instructions will accompany acceptance letter.
Note: No substitutions of accepted works, no price changing, No Exceptions!
Framing:
- Accepted Paintings must be framed in good quality frames and properly wired for hanging.
- No saw-tooth hangers, or skimpy, poorly-constructed frames will be accepted.
- APAP retains the right to reject paintings based on bad framing practices.

Suggestions:
APAP is sending out announcements to National Magazines and local newspapers. The more people who help promote the show, the better for all involved so please try to talk it up, and send invitations to your collectors.
